Counselling in Essex

Life in Essex can be busy, demanding and sometimes quietly overwhelming. From the outside, things might look fine. But on the inside, it can feel like something isn’t quite right. You may be constantly
anxious, overthinking, exhausted by people-pleasing, or stuck in old relationship patterns you don’t know how to change.

If any of this sounds familiar, counselling could offer you the support you’ve been quietly needing.

I’m a BACP-accredited counsellor based in Thurrock, and I work with people from across Essex- including Grays, Basildon, Southend, Chelmsford, Brentwood, and beyond. I offer both in-person sessions from my East Tilbury practice and online counselling to support you wherever you are in the county.

Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after some time away, you’re welcome here, just as you are.

These experiences are more common than you think, and you’re not weak or failing for feeling this way. You’re human. And therapy can help.

I know how hard it can be to open up, especially if you’ve been the strong one, the quiet one, or the one who always keeps going. Therapy with me isn’t about giving advice or quick fixes. It’s about creating space where you get to be honest, heard, and supported, without judgment.

From my practice in East Tilbury or online, I support people across Essex to untangle what’s really going on underneath the surface, and to reconnect with themselves in meaningful, lasting ways.

If you’re based in Essex and you’re ready to stop just getting by and start feeling more like you, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach out with questions, book an initial session, or simply see how it feels to talk things through.

You don’t have to do this alone anymore.
